>>> Prayer Points
- God would draw people to Himself & bring about revival in our country.
- The Church would stand strong in the faith; encourage & edify one another.
- Repentance & forgiveness of our personal sins.
- God’s people would read His Word & hear His messages over the messages of the culture. Discern His direction & obey His leading.
- God’s people would have discernment & wisdom in these confusing times.
- God’s people can live out lives that honor the Lord – peaceful, quiet, godly, dignified & proclaiming the good news of Jesus.
- Unity & peace for our land. And that the powers that seek to disrupt it would be undone.
- Local, state & federal officials would stand for righteousness, truth & justice. And that those that oppose such things would be removed from office.
- That justice would prevail in the court cases challenging the election results.
- That those perpetrating evil in & against our country would be held accountable & brought to justice. Entrust vengeance to God & still pray for God’s mercy to save their souls.
- That those with knowledge of evil in our government or systems, such as election fraud or obstruction of justice, would have the courage to reveal it & that any such whistleblowers would be protected.
“Righteousness & justice are the foundation of Your throne; steadfast love & faithfulness go before You.” – Psalm 89.14
>>> Action Items
Below are not just recommendations for action, but should also be considered a continuation of prayer points.
- Ultimately, people (including those in government) carry out or support evil because they are spiritually lost & need the saving Gospel of Christ, so share it! Ask people if they’ve heard of the Gospel & explain it to them; Hand out Gospel tracts & share Gospel posts. Invite people to church. Don’t forget to love them too.
- Don’t support the companies that have been complicit in the corruption & censorship – don’t contribute your cash or clicks; unsubscribe & remove their apps whenever possible.
- Don’t listen to the mainstream media (local stations are not exempt) that repetitiously pumps out false narratives & divisiveness. Many web browsers have default pages with links to the compromised media, so change your browser’s homepage. Even some Christian news outlets parrot the mainstream media talking points. In any case, practice discernment.
- Don’t be afraid to let others know you’re a Christian & a conservative. An objective of those corrupting our culture is to make it sound like their view is held by the majority, but this is primarily an empowered group of elitists projecting their views on society. To support this, they demonize their opposition (us) in an effort to shame & suppress. Stand against the cancel culture. Be as loud & proud as they are.
- Don’t give in to the idea that America now has a dictatorial government or that the federal government trumps state’s rights or the people’s will. If we don’t believe in & act on the American ideals of our Constitution, then we will unwittingly grant others the ability to abuse us.
- Learn about the U.S. Constitution as well as your own state’s constitution & share it with your friends & family. This is powerful & enlightening. If you don’t know your rights, you won’t know if they’re violated & you won’t take action. Wall Builders & Constitution Alive are great resources.
- Sign up to be a poll worker or poll watcher. Know your rights as a worker & don’t get bullied out of not accomplishing the main objective of accountability. Ask questions, take notes & watch carefully.
- Make it a priority to stay up to date on both state & federal issues & legislation, knowing who voted for what. The American Family Association is a good resource that will keep you informed & they have state organizations as well. And your state may have other similar organizations with calls to action. We are the “checks & balances” – if you aren’t checking, the government won’t be balanced.
- If the office holders violate their “just powers” by failing to support our Constitution, liberty & virtue, then in keeping with your American duty, seek to remove them from office by spreading knowledge of their voting record, assisting opposing candidate campaigns or even run against them yourself & certainly by voting against them.
- Contact state & congressional representatives on issues. They likely get inundated with email or phone messages, which you can use, but its likely more effective to contact them in person or by mailing them letters (which is less common).
- Issues to raise with your state senators:
- Stronger election integrity laws in your state such as for mandatory voter ID, signature verification, etc.
- Support a Convention of States (Article V of the Constitution) for certain amendments like term limits on congress & balanced federal budget which are conflicts of interest for congress who would never pass them.
“Be watchful, stand firm in the faith, act like men, be strong.” – 1 Corinthians 16.13
